I must be fortunate as I have always received prompt and satifactory before and after sales service from Cab Direct on all occasions that I
have asked for assistance. All Vehicles have teething problems. I had
my doubt about the company after reading articles from this site, however
I am glad I bought my taxi from this company and would have no quams
in recomending them to anyone. :)

As Sales Director of Cab Direct I am very disappointed to see what has been written about our products. We believe that one of our competitors is behind this entry as we have an excellent name all over the UK and especially in Dundee. We would have thought that if someone genuinely had a problem they would not be against entering their name along with their entry.

If any driver, anywhere in the UK has a problem with any of our products or indeed the service that has been received from Cab Direct, I urge you to contact our office and we will endeavour to sort out any problems that you have.

We can be contacted on freephone 0800 731 7005.

Please ask for Arthur Parker our Customer Relations Manager. If you feel that you are not receiving the help that you require from our Customer Relations department, please feel free to ask to speak to myself and I will be more than happy to help you.

I wouldn't believe a word that this chancer has to say, after reading his quote on this site, i phoned him to say that the E7 that his company had sent to us had a noisy engine that was getting worse. His idiot of a sales manager said that he would send back the same pile of junk or we could have our money back. After speaking to the sales director they sent us a bigger pile of junk that started to fall apart after 3 weeks. Be warned and take your business somewhere else these will just stitch you up

I have just spent the last 10 minutes reading all this then realised that this thread is actually 7 years old. Whilst I am all for pointing out bad service and products I think this is just pointless.

I am sure you have a genuine grievance and I myself have had problems with my E7 but this thread deals with the older model so is not really relevant or current.

As for the noisy engine - surely that would be covered by the Peugeot part of the warranty.
