I seem to recall the early TX2's had the same problem as they had routed the wiring loom straight over the top of the engine. :?

I spoken to two lads today with 56 reg TX4s.

Both of them haven't heard a thing from LTI.

FFS are LTI waiting for a death or two before they tell the rest of the country?

They know about it in Liverpool..... it seems it is caused by an oil leak dripping on to the turbo....

This is one way out of the trade with the current climate, the insurers could'nt argue with that!

So who's to blame?

LTI for producing a dangerous vehicle or the PCO for not picking up a potential fatal design fault?
Or both?

Answer.The cab trade.
Not quite sure how LTI/PCO will work or word it,but neither will be responsible, ''it's the drivers/garages fault''.

Maybe we can help LTI/PCO with some ideas....

Perhaps they should license the Datsun Cherry as a HC then....can recall many issues with them apart from being awful.

I wonder how many councils have missed this and LTI wont let them know unless they have to :?: :?:
Is there any way of emailing all councils with the PCO notice and the video from the BBC

VOSA should be stepping in here and pulling them all of the road for good that TX 4 is already a death trap with the breaks and other things now this

I have just emailed Vosa with all the links hopefully LTI wont get away with just checking the 56 plates
