Did'nt see one out tonight, although I did chat to the driver of a '56' reg TX2 at Euston who's been getting no end of ear ache from the less informed drivers in our trade. :D

I have been in London today and I noticed 3 TX4 on 07 plates and 1 on 05 plates. I take it that these are not on the banned list. There was also a 58 plate TX4, do you think he should be worried?

The 05 cab's are TX2's and only a few of the O7 are on stop.
There is nothing much for the owners of TX4 to worry about.
Its just a matter of getting the ones on stop back to work.
But first the modifications have to be passed, so everyone is holding their breath for Monday morning .
M&o's have done about a 100 in the last 48 hours.
Lets hope the PCO can now pass them out as quick as they stopped them.

I think that the 58 plate is a bit previous - arn't we still in the era of the 08? Perhaps it's a TARDIS from Dr Who!

There is still a remote chance the carriage office may pull all TX4's off the road till they are modified. They were supposed to make a statement on friday, but went home for the weekend without making one.
Its not known if they are more concerned for, passenger safty, or for the compansation claim that LTI will have to face.
They cant really say they are too worried about passenger safety, when they let death trap rickshaw bikes carry on spreading like an out of control virus.
