Ive been stopped a few times for not wearing my seatbelt, alot of police don't know the law.
I must admit ive started wearing more often now due to saftey reasons.

in modern vehicles seatbelts in the event of an accident even at low speeds, even under 30 mph, are fitted with rocket type pre tensioners which when the seatbelts are worn will put you in the right position at the right time for the airbag to support you

Is that the drivers rocket tensioner or the passengers captain,cos i never wear one!
It does not happen here these days but a long time ago a cabby would not wear a seat belt because there was too many got attacked by having the thing pulled around them whilst the person in the front rifled their pockets.

I'm a saloon hack but always wear my belt and make sure all kids have there's on before I move and warn the adults no belt no go,


I make sure Kids wear theirs...but as for the adults...I tell em too but if they Dont they get fined not me...they usually Comply.

A quick and easy way to shut the belt warning up, especially if its a Skoda, and any other type of car.
put the drivers seat forward, then get in the back and reach under the seat to where the belt goes into, you should find 2 wires coming out of the bottom of it, follow these until you come to a connector, unplug the connector and that shuts up the warning
A seat dealer showed me how to do it, after he switched off the motion locking

And when you get home be sure to take the battery out of that annoying smoke alarm ](*,)

You can also get a spare seat belt buckle from a scrapyard and plug it in.
(At your own risk of course)
