It looks like the door problems that I have been cursed with practically from day one have finally been cured.

Now it is not a way that I would recommend but it certainly works - anyway this is what you do!

You go to work and drive through a roundabout ( well around it if you know what I mean ) in a normal and professional manner - Noo not taxi driver style - proper, do you know what I mean PROPER - and then someone runs into you rear side end , this then causes you to go off track and smack a kerb/island with a road sign which trashes the other side of the car which then spins you around and forcing you into a soft landing - well up a kerb and into some roadside hedging which rips off your drive shaft and damages your gearbox. The engineer is therefore looking to write it off

Apart from some whiplash I am well, but the point of all of this is not the bucket loads of sympathy that you are all going to heap my way or that you think that I am looking for - perish the thought, but! where can I get a decent cab/E7/whatever to replace a well looked after cab.

Good point T cabbie.

Cabby John, I've liked your posts for a while and I'm saddened by your accident, so saddened I think hearing about it I'm suffering from post traumatic stress disorder, when you put a claim in, can you please advise your insurance company of the mental anguish I am suffering from as a result of the other drivers actions.

regards

CC

Very sorry to hear about your incident, John. T'other 'alf and I both wish you well. It may bring forward that trip to Bournemouth you mentioned!! Or even further afield if a decent dollop of compensations lands on the door mat in good time!! 8)

Once again, many thanks to you and your good lady for your kind hospitality last week. You'll be glad to know we had an enjoyable trip back..... and managed to avoid maniacs at roundabouts!! :D

Regards to you both. :)

Just glad you're in a better condition than the motor.

As for a replacement motor, well TBH I think all WAVs are much the same, so go for the cheapest one that has the spec you prefer.

I cannot go down that road as things are so bad that some nights you go out to earn enough for a loaf of bread :-({|= and the next night you go back to earn to enough so you can put some dripping in, times are tough

I fully understand your suffering and will gladly be your witness for a guaranteed standard fee of no more than 50%

Thank you for your kind words and with a little more notice (not that I minded) we could have made it a much better night for you both - as your good lady said (more or less) it is good to know that the keyboard has a face - look forward to seeing you both again.

Cheers Sussex you are not wrong as I suspect that they are all of a muchness, I suppose I will be back to Cabs Direct unless I can find a private seller and take some more punishment.
