Who at social services will be answering the phone at 2.00 AM?

My first wife and I used to be foster carers. We had a teenage lad (15) for a while. The social worker asked us how we were coping with him and we said everything was fine but we were having a problem with getting him to come home before 3.00 AM an fridays and Saturdays. The social worker was over the moon because at his privious foster hope he would stay out all night.

a) to the landline - no, its not staffed if im out, sometimes on divert to mobile.

b) to my mobile (while im sitting next to her?) - if she has credit+battery life

but whats the difference between (b) and through the window, apart from there would be phone records IF needed?

back to defining "prebooked" then?

some LA's do not allow mobile numbers "on adverts, cards or signs to invite bookings"
