They should value the service we are providing them and their customers.
If they dont allow taxi access refuse to accept bookings from there and refuse to drop off there. They will soon change their mind. The trade must learn to market itself. We bring them customers that will spend money in their outlets. Stop behaving like beggars at the doors of the big house.

The issue isn't how much you pay, but how much you get back.

In other words I would much rather pay £200 a week subs, and kop a grand, than pay £100, and kop £500.

That sort of thinking has led to the taxi trade stagnating over the last 20/30, and the PH trade thriving.

Thank goodness. :D :D :D :D :D

Paying subs to a taxi operator is a different matter, that depends on the service provided. Paying Supermarkets etc is a very different matter.

Plate, I only want one.

But to answer your question, who says I am desperate to get one. That's not the issue. The issue is why can't I get one, when a murderer can buy one?

It is the PH trade that has created this market, they started paying to get work because no-one wants or books a PH they want a TAXI. PH thrive as all other parasites thrive by living off the backs of others.

You only want one because your ambition is as limited as your thinking.
As for a murderer getting a plate, I dont know any, but I am sure you do, as it is more likely in the company that you keep than me.

At Brighton station the taxi lads wanted permits and to limit them to stop anymore of there fellow taxi lads working the station.
Including me.
It wouldnt surprise though if one day the PH got hold of that. Bit like Watford.

In "Sussex World" there would be a taxi outside evey house because everyone would be issued with their own free taxiplate, everyone would be taking £1500 per week but paying it all out to supermarkets, railway stations etc for allowing us to pick up from their establishments. Each driver would be allocatted a diabled person that they could care for and cherrish. What a wonderful world, I'm selling up here and moving to Sussex, it will be my pilgrimage, let us pray.
