Christmas is a time of good will to all men.

Actually it was a two way street.
When you watch the film you don't see this view, you only see the Rover arrive at the laundrette. Then as they get out, they turn from 4 to 6. You never saw the Jag behind. Looking at the picture it is clear the other two are in the Jag and the indicator is on! I was always puzzled by this.

It seems we have an interest in common.
My father was a stunt man for some years and being an ex boxer he was also a minder to many film stars. Along with his buddy Bobby Ramsey they were in many films together. They looked after John Wayne when he came to London to film Brannigan.
His biggest claim to fame is he was run over by Freddy Star when filming The Squeeze starring Stacy Keatch and Steven Boyd.

Then I would strongly suggest you join the Britmovie site, the links under my posts.

We're very courteous over there.

I did have a look, thanks for the recognition.

Just to finish off A.D.Read was an estate agent, so my mum said and the convent was empty for many years. It has never been replaced. If you ever get a job to Kilburn park Station just look over to the end on the gardens and there is a big hole where it once stood so proud.

[QUOTE=harryshand;231467]Does anyone recognise any of these locations? Apologies for the grabs but they're taken from widescreen.

Well here's another shot from the same film of 'Ma Dakins' house, believed to be in London somewhere.

It's like a TDO treasure hunt section now.
