yes the office was open on acadmy way (does that make it legal or right)

just done some quick sums in the past 520000 miles i have been stoped by wbc enforcement TWICE and stopped by other LA for a check out of the area about EIGHT times. This does not make me feel as if the LA are protecting the people of warrington or the drivers who are following there conditions as it should be. While i would be the first to whinge if i was stopped 4 times a week i think once every four years is a bit concening
you never said anything about the "club" bit is this because its a new road the p/h of warrington are going down (if pink ladies dont need plates why should we - cant blame you for that)
i can not see any reason why pink ladies should be allowed to carry on picking people and run a private hire service and nothing be be done to close them down till they can tow the line
the problems i have are black and white (what right and legal)
some drivers in the past have been there (taxi council meetings) for there own gain and not for a better trade or service to drivers (p/h or hack) or a better sevice to customers.because thats what we are in the end a CUSTOMER SERVICE which sometimes drivers, p/h bosses and the LA forget.
on one hand WBC says heres a plate we need WAVs on the road go spend 30k and pick the people of warrington up and give a better service, on the other hand by the way when your on the road we are going to turn a blind eye to p/h hire stealing that work that you need for your expensive WAV
on the radio front, you know i could not be told what to do and when to do it, some people forget who pays who in the p/h system
Where have i been? As far away from the Taxi Game as poss mate, i'm teaching now at Uni, have been for more than a year. More money, weekends off, and all those holidays!!
The Academy Way Office was publicised in the local paper for anyone to voice an objection to, but no-one did, just like the new one was. And remember it wasnt the present owner who origionally opened it either.
As for ranking in certain places, i must admit if i was picking up a central station i used to park right up to the rank just to annoy the hacks who were over ranked right up the street, so they couldnt pull on without going around me, much like the bus station rank thats for 3 cars but gets 6 or more on it stopping PH's dropping off which theyre legally entitled to do.
Pink Slappers is another story, i agree with everything you say.
Dont know about any uniforms btw.
You know all about flagging as much as i do when you were PH
