I need it for my accounts, and because the controller is normally so stoned he forgets he's taken it of you.
How much should my rent come down by?

the same as VAT

how many radio-renting owner drivers on a circuit get a vat reciept for the settle?

I have to be honest I've never asked for receipt but I think come Monday I am going to ask for a VAT receipt and see what happens

dont you need one for your accounts?

I do my own accounts and the cost is shown for the settle. If I was asked to produce the receipts I could and I would.

£127.50 = £108.51 without VAT.

+15% VAT

= £124.79 which will save you a massive £2.71 a week or £140.92 per year.

Basically it should be a discount of 2.13%.

round here radio rents are just going down and down earlier this year i put our up to £60 a week from £55 which it had been for 10 years only to find that one of my main competitors has put their down to £50 a week which is in response to a newish firm in town having put theirs down to £25 a week ! so there aint no vat to worry about cos noone generates enough turnover to come close !

Methinks this is the time radio circuits will raise their subs 'to help the circuit during these challenging times' by not passing on the VAT cut.

This is how British business works.

I suppose it depends on just how much extra staff are demanding to work the phones over those days I gave up trying to get them to do that years ago and just use call divert mind you I've dispensed with staff completely now anyway but if your board ops are demanding £20 an hour or more for xmas eve new years eve etc it can add up to quite a lot
