Whats the address of the royal oak taxi centre?

Its a cabdrivers club, unless you have a badge they wont let you in!
Althought they do serve teas to the mini cab drivers through the window.
( the square window)

We have started an email campaign and are pressuring the LTDA to push for a legal hearing.

This is the part that makes me laugh, a Non Member who spends his time slagging the LTDA off, then insists my organisation does something about it?

Go boil your head comes to mind.

Go and ask your own LCDC pensioners club what they're doing about it, after all that’s why you pay them £15 a month.
Let’s see them take the lead for once, lets see them spend their members money, after all it seems it’s the LCDC who is most concerned with a dozen Minicabs parked in Leicester Square.

Seems like your wrong again. Big meeting yesterday at Woofers Road.
I'll leave you to find out what it was about.
By the way when I said I'd joined an association I never mentioned who.

Royal oak Taxi Centre is for Licensed Taxi drivers only. The Meeting last night was to discuss issuesd affecting the Licensed Taxi Trade.
Why would we let mini cab drivers in ?
I'm sure that Addison Lee Wouldn't let Taxi drivers into their board room.

With the greatest respect "rambo" as Thomas has repeated before the Royal Oak TAXI cafe is for licensed TAXI driver's, not mini cab driver's or mini cab controller's.

Sorry to sound petty but the meeting i am led to believe was for licensed TAXI driver's only.

Maybe to advise you on how to get 'ranks' in the busiest places in the West End.

The reason I would have liked to come is to maybe add some input from a PHV perspective.
Also, if the taxi drivers who attended the meeting are anything like the ones that come in the cafe I use, they will know nothing about PHV regulations and get it all tits up! :?
What I will say though is it's nice to see drivers doing something about something they disagree with!

From what I've heard not a lot of people turned up and then the meeting turned into an anti Dial-A-Cab rant, the alleged Minicab 'rank' was'nt even mentioned.

That's what happens when you involve the young pretender from SE1, it turns into a personal crusade against his former circuit.

Oh dear.

I think we've found about a dozen founder members for Stalin’s mob.

He could legitimately claim to have a London Taxi branch then, both parties seem to share a lot in common.

As you never had the bottle to show up ( there was a slimy little ugly driver there, was that your one and only mate?) , again you got it wrong. You really do need a better source.

The anti dial -a cab rant was already going on when we arrived, they were talking about a rank for Dial-a cabs partner mini cab firm at the rear of the Grosvenor. This situation has now been resolved by a United effort between the Union and the LTDA plus the LCDC, in a meeting at Taxi House with officials from TFL and the PCO and a rep from the Hotel.
It had nothing to do with our meeting.

As it was club night there was a steady flow of drivers in and out.
John decided to talk to interested drivers on a personal level, as there were some intruders from the car wash.

The result was very successful.
Although at short notice there was many interested cabbies there.

That’s no way to speak about Grant Davis.

I wouldn’t enter that rat infested den if it was the last eatery on earth, luckily around 25'500 drivers out of 26'000 take the same view as me.

So apart from your usual abuse, guff and hot air, fook all happened, and fook all is likely to happen.

Perhaps you could trap all the hot air and halitosis from the 28 attendees and come up with some form of energy solution for London? :D
