Not trying to be pedantic here Skippy, but how do you provide an address for a vehicle?

That's twice the word pedantic has been used regarding skippy!

Just found this on thomas's link;
Established case law states a private hire vehicle parked up awaiting customers is not plying for hire if the vehicle is empty. That means no driver inside the vehicle.

So i'm parked up outside my office waiting in the queue and I could be guilty of touting!?

Utter rubbish and scaremongering.

If you had read the posting correctly, you would have discovered that the quote came from JD's post, not my words.
I think he knows a bit more about the law than you.

Have you any proof that the Taxi driver was holding the video camera then, perhaps you would like to post it on here.

Any updates then Mr A ?

I noticed you've found the 'Wizann London Taxi forum'.

I also see some of the posters are almost suggesting vigilante style action, that'll be interesting when they're locked up with no job, house, and a record.

Good move, great idea. ](*,)

Apologies Mr A, I see you have updated your 'blog'.

Can I correct you on the following:

Quote:
Already TFL have mediated with the royal parks police to allow the mini cabs to drive through the royal parks with paying customers on board (still unlawful under the royal parks bi-laws), plus they have now allowed mini cabs to carry livery on their vehicles. Only licensed Taxi’s are allowed through royal parks with livery and as there has been no parliamentary law change, any PHV vehicle with livery using the royal parks and the Mall, is committing an arrestable offence.

1. There's no such thing as the Royal Parks Police anymore, they were disbanded a few years ago. Policing in all of the Royal Parks is now done by the Met's Parks Operational Command Unit.

2. There's no specific power of arrest for driving a commercial vehicle in the parks, no more than you or I would be arrested for ignoring a prohibited turn sign.

Like that one, it's an FPN (Non Endorsable) offence, unless of course one of the general arrest conditions was satisfied as in false name and address etc.

Hope that helps.

I have always been only too pleased to change any post found to be incorrect or unintentionally offensive.
Its amazing the only person who complains, purports to be a licensed Taxi driver. Very funny GBC pull the other one.
I think your game is up now, as does most of the other London Licensed Taxi drivers who you constantly slate.
I have even had PM's from PHV drivers asking if I had considered you were not kushdy

kushdy

: Slang word, used in areas of England such as the South, simply meaning 'Cool', 'Nice one', 'Excellent', etc.

I received a personal message from a PHV driver and I looked long and hard at the word. After looking it up I do believe it is used in the correct context
