Thats exactly what the Licensed cab trade are up in arms about.
One set of rules for you lot, that you dont stick to,
one set of rules for us, that are vigerously enforced.

We new you would see the light one day.

You forget, TaxiCABman is yet another alter ego of Mr A who posts under various guises.

The TaxiCABman log on is the 'none too bright, a tad illiterate and a bit slow' character.

It won't be long until the LondonJim log in is mobilised once again, that’s the 'angry, take no hostages, the worlds due me a living' character.

Then of course we can't forget the Thomasthetaxi log in, the mature keyboard warrior who can't make his mind up if he's a member of the LCDC, the LTDA or the TGWU, depending what day of the week it is.

Of course no post under the Thomasthetaxi log on would be complete without a mention of Bob Oddie or Peter Hendy.

I find it hilarious, great entertainment value. :D

Spoken by an imposter who was banned on a forum under three different avatars.
Still gets to you don't it.

BTW I made you a knew avatar, I think it reflects your personality better than the one you use.

Nope your wrong again, as usual.
The signs are fitted after the vans are presented to SGS. When they go up for their MOT the sign is removed and the Wash Wipe refitted.
Just ask your colleagues. We have a Addi Lee driver, Who is on the knowledge comes in the oak while he has his van washed.
Surprising what they will tell you.
Apparently they have loads of these liveries left over from before they were banned. Addi Lee are using them up. The new one that was passed by SGS fits on the inside of the vehicle but cant be seen with tinted windows.
This is proof that the PCO's and TOCU have no interest in policing these mini cabs.

Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, hot air, moan, blah, complain, blah, moan, more hot air, whinge, moan, complain, dirty old men, blah, fairways, blah, whinge, the worlds due me a living . . . .

Never mind Mr A, I'm sure you and Grant will solve everything.

Don't forget to keep us all updated with your masterplan, halitoses and all. :D

Not really Clive.

Unlike you I have a life away from Taxi forums, but that’s what happens when you grow old, you're left with a cab and a computer for company.

When another poster exposes you as a clown, a liar and sensationalist, you resort to making up stories about them to better yourself.

Trouble is Clive I've been on here for years, you're new and people have worked you out very quickly, some posters have ridden in the back of my Taxi, some studied the Knowledge with me, so all your underhand methods of alluding to the fact I'm a PHV driver are in vain.

Keep trying though, it will help destroy further whatever credit you had left.

Have you tried Age Concern I gather they have an activity centre near Sudbury Hill that serves hot soup? :lol:

Touchy, did I hit a nerve.

I dont have to make up stories about you, you do a good enough job on yourself every time you post.

You'll never touch any nerves with me MrA, unlike you I've actually worked out the difference between a phone line connected to a box, and real life.

Be quick, dinners served at 4. :D

Nice.

Problem is our car is a Toyota Avensis, and I have a Smart Car, not a people carrier.

OK rambo show me a photo of the old ones then
My addi lee driver said they were in stock before the ban. I have no reason to doubt his word over yours
The new ones that were passed can not be seen properly with tinted windows, as they stick on the inside.

Can't show you a photo i'm afraid, but you might remember that the old ones went left to right on the rear screen and were fitted INSIDE.

From the TFL website;
5.4 Signs and logos on the rear of the vehicle
Signs and logos identifying only a licensed London PHV operator and contact telephone number and/or web-site address are permitted in one of the following positions:
• on the rear window;
• adjacent to the vehicle registration number plate;
• in a single area of rear-facing bodywork.
Such signs must be within defined limitations and not, by virtue of their size, design or location, detract from or obscure the rear licence disc or any other sign issued by TfL, e.g. the optional Red Route sign.
Signs on the rear window (area B in the diagram below) may be the full width of the window in an area at the base of the window. For clarification the signs should take up no more than 33% of the height from the lower edge of the window.

So there we have it, from what I read addison lee all legal and above board.
Maybe, addy lee ARE acting ilegally, if they are the should be punished, but I just can't see it.

So two days ago you were telling us all Minicabs were not permitted in the Royal Oak, now they are.

Then you were not in a trade body, then you were, and then you were not.

:lol:

Do you still dress yourself?

are permitted in one of the following positions:
The signage on Addi vans is in two places, on the rear windscreen and also the tail gate contravening the conditions of fitness.
no more than 33% of the height from the lower edge of the window.
The rear windscreen of the Sharon van is divided into 16 equal segments by the heating elements. The A in the logo covers 7 full segments contravening the conditions of fitness.

So what are you going to do about it then?

Typing your complaints on here won't solve it.

Go on MrA take on John Griffen, I'm waiting. :D
