AS it happens thomas, you have a point there, only permitted in ONE of the following postions.
The height issue i'm not sure about, i'll have a measure of one when I see one.

The next step is to see what the PCO say about it.
I stand (semi) corrected.

That would be Grant Davis, aka 'John the cabbie Kennedy', either that or you had a mirror in front of you. Image

Looks more than one third or 33% to me.
Don't forget the removal of the rear wiper arm, that would block the view of this logo.

It's a company logo.....cant see what difference that would make, its not as if its saying "I'm a taxi...hire me!"

Its not the content that insults the License drivers its the fact that this logo flaunts the law. Other companies like Central cars of Wembly now have logos that comply with the legislation.
We were told by TFL commissioner Peter Hendy that, the conditions of fitness of Private hire vehicles stand side by side with Hackney carriage vehicles;(Transport committee meeting 2007).

Then we see stop notes issued to Taxi's for removing ash trays after the smoking ban and having un authorised signage on their tax disc's.
Along come Addison Lee with this oversized Logo and removed wash wipe arm and no body at the PCO/TFL bats an eye lid. They also advertise heavily on the internet, under the banner of Taxi's, which would be illegal in printed form.

This is John Griffin sticking his toe in the water to see how far he can push the boundary's.
We want to stop this behaviour now along with the newly proposed Private hire ranks, be for it all gets out of hand. John obviously has an agenda which he is keeping close to his chest. Normally Addison Lee operate a tight ship with drivers found to be touting dismissed.

But it seems he has a [edited by admin] plan

To be fair, the removal of the rear wiper arm is irevelant, it's not a requirement of law or the PCO.
The size of the sign?, i'm still not sure if it's to big, until someone measures it we won't know.
Advertising on the internet as a taxi service? because the internet is not policed then addy lee are not breaking any laws.

Tell us all what you intend to do about it apart from whining on here?

In fact I'll save you the trouble, you'll do nothing.
