I can't decide what is the best thing to do with my car. Should I just sell it or part ex it for another one. It's peugeot 407 Zenith with 45,000 on the clock. It's coming up to it's 3rd birthday and I don't usually keep them after that. I don't know what it's worth to be honest. What is the name of the book thing that has all the prices in it?

45,000 miles is barely run in. This year is going to be tough. I'd keep it another year if there's nothing wrong with it.

You could be right but they have a habit of something going wrong once they're out of warranty and they ain't cheap to fix, obviously I'll have to consider every option more sensibly than usual eusasmiles.zip

The rear end of the saloon looks awful though.

You can't see the rear end from the drivers seat.

This VAT free bit. As I understand it, you get a cheque back to the value of the VAT that is paid on the vehicle, is that correct? If so, Do you still get the cheque if you are VAT registered and can claim the VAT back anyway?

I use to work a great many hours taxi driving when I didn't want to be at home but now I only do about 6hrs Fri and 10hrs tops on Sat about 4hrs Sun. This has been the case for the last 3 years it suited me to only do those hours as it's all I needed to do but now it's getting more difficult to make your money I may well be back to longer hours eusasmiles.zip

thats the way dixons at le chunnel and airports work

they discount the equivalent of the vat but you claim the vat too (if regd)

it was a 15% discount under the old 17.5% vat rate

Buy at the end at the end of the month when they haven't filled their quota of sales to achieve their discounts and watch the thousands drop off
