US yanks
The Germans have a few like bosh the Hun
Italians the Iti or mafia
English Sasanacks, and a few other words lol
Scott's, Jocks or kilties
Chinese, chinky, as in do you want a chinky tonight.
Nearly every nationality has a different word people use to describe other nationalities.

Anyone remember the saying "It's a free country"? Not any more it's not

I'm not into this PC world, but if folks take offence at being called a ****, then why call them it?

I think most sensible people wouldn't go out of their way to offend folks, and most sensible people know that word offends, so why call people *****?

IMO I think the offence of calling somebody a [edited by admin] is due to the fact that not all of them called this are actually from Pakistan some would be from India and there has always conflicts between the two nations since the division was created. Therefore if you call an Indian a [edited by admin] then you have insulted them. The [edited by admin]'s have just jumped on the band wagon. To be fair though if you called an Indian a Pakistani they would be just as insulted I don't think it's all because the word is shortened. Prince Harry is still young and I suppose some people will not agree that this is a good excuse for his blunder he is of course better educated and should appreciate that he will be 'spied' upon. He is of course entitled to free expression and free speech the same as us all so long as he's prepared to take the flak for it.

It's sad that the news have had to relay this but I suppose it's a welcome relief to some not to hear about our dire financial situation for a change

It does come to something though that a person, albeit in this case a Royal person, can go and kill someone in a battle, but if he calls that person (I know that's not the case in this instance) a racist name the end of the world is nigh.

Bit like the way the yanks would go mad if someone took a lighted cigarette into a Deep South restaurant, but wouldn't bat an eyelid if they took a machine gun in.
