as it gone that far with the trade as we lost all compassion, whan i started we would have got them to hospital and not charged.

sorry i have done this job 31 years and still hold some values.

Well I agree with you Charlie. Under the circumstances I wouldn't have charged a penny.

Amazing aint it...Gaza gets blown to bits and thousands die and the BBC wont even run an Appeal...yet here in Britain one wee Boy Barfs in the back of Taxi and its Headline news. I think the guy had a right to charge, maybe he was foolish in doing so under the Circumstances, to his credit though he knew he could get the boy to hospital faster than ambulance and offered to do so. the mum has little to complain about, the boys alive and well possibly because the taxi driver got him there ASAP...Id say its Fairs Fair..

Maybe with hindsight the woman has decided that the £50 charge considering the car allegedly had to be taken off the road was a reasonable charge for getting her child to the hospital quickly. Next time she might not be able to get a taxi.

The childs mother has said the soiling was minimal and amounted to only a few drops of sick but what is intriguing is that considering the incident happened at 8-30 pm the vehicle was still on the road at 9-30 pm. So at what time was the vehicle allegedly taken off the road and what time of day did the driver start his shift?
