 Post subject: TXI headlights

Does anyone know if the TXI headlights are available from any motors factors as the cheapest i can see are from taximart at approx £85 each + P+P, seems alittle strong for a unit that cracks after a years use :sad:

I'm not aware of any, I was under the impression the fault you describe was down to the incorrect bulb.

Leyton taxi parts were around £55-60 + vat when I bought a couple last year.

Use the xenon bulbs...they don't get so hot...

I think all the recent TX4's have been fitted with glass ones, quite how much they cost is anyones guess.

I'd contact the local LTI dealer for a price.

Yes there is I read it somewhere, possibly on TDO???
I think it was a recall due to the plastic ones melting
