Probably because Manchester airport is not in Manchester. Like London Luton is not in London.

I think it is within Manchester's jurisdiction,,,, aprat from a bit of runway that's in Stockport. :wink:

I wouldn't expect Luton Airport to be in London I'd expect it to be in Luton which is why I expected Manchester Airport to be in Manchester but I suppose I should always expect the unexpected :wink:

I wonder if the Manchester hacks have there thinking caps on, and they could swamp the airport and take over

Luton airport is called London Luton, you also have London Gatwick, London Stansted and London Heathrow. How many of these airports are actually in London? Nottingham East Midlands is not in Nottingham, Birmingham airport is not in Birmingham. And Robin Hood airport has [edited by admin] all to do with Robin Hood.
