oh it landed

just not where it was supposed to

yet it wasnt snowing at BHX, it landed at manchester where the weather was supposed to worse while other flights came in on time at bhx....doh

i must be quoting too cheap cos the guy rang and wanted me to drive up to pick him up, whats a manchester meter rate from manchester to thrapston....

The round trip is about 285 miles from Lichfield so I would guess that a metered rate for half the miles would be £180 - 200.

if he had approached a black cab outside mancester airport woul they have quoted that though? its 145 miles a-b

I think Billy Connolly tried the RC route..it got routed via the vatican and then lost in the Italian post network..
