One of the bonuses of this snow chaos is that it's introduced me to a bloody awesome web-site:

You can put in any motorway and select between certain junctions. It tells you the average speed between junctions, temperature, weather and also what each of the overhead signs are saying, then you can look at the traffic cameras for each section of the road.
