Perhaps the lady in question should have insisted on an answer to her question first before saying where she was going.

That said, she should still report him since it still sounds like cherry picking.
Your LO may agree.

Certainly aint cherry Picking..he was under no Obligation to take the run if there was a dog Involved..its his choice unless its Guide dog..

Certainly WAS cherry picking, I know because I was there.

He would've taken the job had it been a little further...

The same driver, (Luigi Ziccardi) also has a no food policy, unless they're going long distance...

"Can I bring food in mate?"

"Where are you going?"

Love taking guide dogs, well behaved and friendly, which is more than can be said for the punters!!
Ive got a regular punter who has a newfoundland, the biggest dog I have ever seen!, he sits upfront with me with his head out of the window!

It is fairly obvious the gentleman does take dogs, only not short distances.

I think the driver concerned should come onto TDO and give his side.

Jimbo has been on TDO for a very long time, and I've never known him tell a deliberate lie.

In fact I suspect the driver concerned is in the majority when it comes to such issues i.e. not really a shock.

there must be 1000's of badged drivers who have never even heard of TDO, the guy named may not even own a computer, i just think its unfair to plaster his name on the tinternetweb when he may not be in any postition to defend himself or reply.

Ultimately, as someone said elsewhere, If your wheels ain't turning, you ain't earning.

Matters have to be fairly extreme for me not to take a job, rank or radio.

The shortest rank job, with or without dog, can get you mobile, ready for the longer job coming your way or even just to pay your mileage back to the town rank.

I can't remember having any problem with dogs (well, the four legged kind!) since I've been doing this job.

Plus, we can charge 20p extra for a 'non-assistance' dog!!!! ££££££

That's very generous of the council we charge an extra £1.00 for non assistance dogs. Depending on their behaviour standard rates for the 2 legged variety
