I have a feeling that, that Stockport licensing officer needs to be kicked out. he really has dropped some clangers hasn't he..... wasted a huge amount of taxpayers' money..... and will probably be wasting a great deal more.....

Spending £50K on useless surveys over 3 years.....I thought that was a qualification?

How do these w###ers keep their jobs. It's like the other thread regarding Reading. There is not a hope in hell that the council can do what they say they are going to. If they asked just about anybody on this site they would be told that. So why do they do it  :?:

Because they pay licensing officers to advise them.... the only trouble is they do not know their licensing officers know F.. all

To get it back off track

If I had suggested 12 months ago that your conditions of application in stockport were pants.....and you had taken on board this suggestion.....what do you think the taxi trade would have said to you?

Would the words 'burn him he's a witch' have been involved?

Totally agree with you. Heads in sand has been the order of the day. Guy Morgan of Trafford fame could have done to Stockport what he did in Trafford and everybody knew it. But nobody did anything about it

Thats why you people should have attended the previous errm 6 or 7 regional meetings....you'd have been up to speed.

But then again.....you were under the impression the MORI thing was good.....afterall what kind of retarded LA would spend £35K on something that couldnt stand up in a teenagers bed alongside a copy of razzle?

Nobody will vote for better standards if they think it will cost them money. The I'm alright jack attitude ruins local cab trades. That is why Manchester is 'nearly' right in their policy. Age restrictions, controlled expansion and a reasonably high vehicle testing standard (when the testers are not being total to$$ers) and reasonably good trade associations
