NOT ME OK?

if a vehicle has no valid MOT is the insurance voided?

does insurance cover not state "vehicle must be in a legal roadworthy condition"

Yes the insurance is void without a current MOT in my opinion.

I don't know the answer but not having an MOT certificate does not neccesarily mean that the vehicle is in an unroadworthy condition. Remember that you are legally allowed to drive your vehicle to a garage to undergo an MOT test and you can legally drive it to get repairs carried out.

I know someone caught with no MOT, if that had been me (non-PH or HC) the cops would have seized the vehicle (no test=no insurance) and crushed it

as it is they didnt

Depends on the insurance and the insurer.
