When people look back in 20-30 years they will think of taxi driving and taxi drivers the way we think of chimney sweeps and mill workers in the 19th century.
If we want to reduce traffic and make our cities traffic systems more efficient then this technology will be the key.
Our motorways our streets our carparks and driveways are packed at the moment ... even when our cars are not in use they cause problems.
In 10 years time each area of each town and city will have 20 or 30 cabs that will provide our transport needs.
Just imagine.
Cleaner air. Quieter roads. Less stressful and quicker journey times.
Less expensive too.
This is the future guys.
On another note - You couldn't / wouldn't lock a dog in a vehicle for 12 hours a day without facing charges of animal cruelty - yet we expect human beings to work 6 days a week for anything up to 15 hours a day - crammed in a small working environment in all weather conditions?
Something is wrong with this picture guys.
When this technology finally arrives , Taxi drivers will then be free to do more productive - healthier jobs as these vehicles become a part of every day life in the 21st century.
