For those who did not know and who prefer using the keyboard to the mouse you can use hotkeys for many of the functions.

Leave Yorkie alone.
Its a free country and its good therapy for him and keeps his blood pressure low.

There is also something comforting about his posts, like an old stuck record.

Anyway at least it bumps the posts up the forum.

More power to your fingertips Yorkie.
How are you getting on with your Navlite CD ?

Oh yes you can have call popping on Navigator or Navlite even if you don't have a telephone exchange.

This latest version of PBX and the call popping hardware means anyone can have call popping.

Its a simple plug and play solution and can be self installed or alternatively we will instal for you over your broadband internet connection.

Alex

Do me a favour, get this advertising [edited by admin] off the site or start charging them.

You may wish to take note that this is a thread about Diplomat Navigator.

The very fact that it exists is of course an advert.
Whats the point in having an equipment section if there is not a cross section of suppliers contributing.

If you are not interested then please don't read it.
You don't need to be a scientist to work it now do you..

If Alex wants us off then he only has to say so. We are busy enough with our own forum. I only add postings from our one to this one if I think they are relevant

I would have thought this forum could do with attracting as many readers as possible from all differnt sectors of the industry. Not scaring away the few remaining people with constructive news about new equipment.
Still no good deed goes un punished..

What are your thoughts on the matter Alex. Shall we stay or shall we go..

Like most of us Stewart, you can stay or you can go.

As for advertising, well TDO doesn't have or need advertising. My own thoughts on those that add links or images, is that in the grand scale of things it isn't going to gain sales.

Stewart would know better than I as to how many people link direct to his site straight from TDO, but I would be very surprised if it got into double figures each week.

I also find through other forums i.e. sport/news/taxi that I'm a member of, that really trying to sell goods via them seldom works.

Absolutely right Alex.

Our forum certainly has more members and considerably more hits a day than TDO and I very much doubt if our postings are of any commercial value to us. (maybe quite the opposite)

I only contribute to this forum as I consider it to be the only independant forum in the UK and when I do a post on our own forum it is little or no effort to cut and paste the content to this one. Without a diverse set of contributions from industry a forum becomes nothing more than a glorified chat room.

Considering the size of the Taxi industry in the UK I am somewhat surprised by the lack of contributors to TDO as it really is the only independant.

We would of course encourage our forum members to look at TDO but unfortunately with clowns like Yorkie lambasting anyone that mentions our products and the anonomous phone abuse our customers get when they post their details on your site, I am some what reluctant to set my nice customers up for an arse kicking from your resident Trolls.

I will give it a break for a month or so as it does take up valuable time.
Keep me posted if anything intersting pops up.

You could be right, but I think you are wrong.
