It's not for Charles it's for somebody he knows and has convinced he can sort things out for him. What I don't understand is why he is if he's a taxi association cos it appears the guy in question is a PH sole trader.

because a helping hand and friendly advice is a favour that may one day be returned maybe?

probably because the bolton guy doesnt want to learn all of bury for a test when he will only be working in bolton? or maybe bury have draconian NVQ/test/etc,etc and lets be fair, isnt this stupid in 2009, telling someone they are shackled to one parish? sounds like the 1700s....

Why is it that other can have a meeting with NTA, T&G, N.P.H.A, N.T.T.G, GMB.

Then i get questioned about helping a p/hire driver, let me say againg this association is mine, i will help who i wish were i wish when i wish, some of you have taken the views about why i not in the nta that is fine, it is not about what they say.

ask yourselfs if you nta knowing the membership of this association, and remember i told them what would happren, and that they would be piad in full for every one of my members who wished to join them.

which would have been arround £3000. ask your selfs would you have waited and seen if the members paid.

you dont need to beleve it but i was there.

any way thank you all for your help it was wellcomed. how the spelling get better.

charlie, whilst im with you on a few things, you cant start an association and expect anyone to join when its going to be a dictatorship, and if no-one joins, its hardly a user or trade group is it?

how many paid up members have you got?

ok.........

the bolton guy wants to live in bury, he should have the right to work where he wants (cherie blair case maybe), i live in my LA with 1 PH vehicle

if i wanted to plate HC for my old area, i could, but then then THIS LA would kick off (dual plating regs), methinks the scales are weighted somehow

tell me its not just LAs protecting incomes...

It's not just LA's protecting incomes. Nobody is stopping you from working wherever you want it's just all the licences have to be in the one area. You can then work the whole f in country if you want pre booked of course :D
