Doom... you're wasting your time with the noisy minority... they just want to change the goal posts to suit themselves, they just want something for nothing, probably too bloody lazy to earn a proper living, but they can tell you the ins and out's of the benefits system, they live on a different planet ... a flat one..

I was coming to that conclusion myself, but unless someone does state how things really are, other who don't know anything will think it's the truth.

Another thing, we have age limits on our cars, nothing older than 6 years of age and 2 years extentions if the car has a good history and is roadworthy still, I generally buy 15 mth old ones and run them 2 years before changing again, I don't do high miles but like a bit of variety and the backup warranty offers.

I can see you equating the Irish issue to what's happening in the UK, I'm saying that's not the case.

No UK council that has delimited has abolished standards, if anything standards of vehicles has improved.

What I can't understand is what is both of your problem with drivers all having the same opportunity?

Or are you only fans of folks with money? :?

Because when there's one plate of food there isn't enough to feed the street, I quite fancy being the owner of an F1 team, but if I want that to happen I will need to fund it, Bernie Ecclestone isn't going to say to another 40 ppl ... yeah sure bring your 80 cars to the the next GP and don't worry about paying to compete, there are things in life that you either buy in or it gets ruined because it's over subscribed, I can't see how you can't see this, especially if you already drive a PH car, what would you say and think of me if I was to put 50 cars on the firm you work at with 100 new drivers, would you say hi guy's, or would you look in horror at the fact you just took a 60% pay cut, it isn't about keeping ppl out, it's about if the desire to be is so strong the way in is buy in, even the tip system can be used as an example, you see two fares waiting, both go 5 quid, but one of them always gives you a tenner and the other doesn't, which one you gonna pick up if you can choose, so why would I want another 200 cars all after my work, do me a favour Sussex, at the very least go get a hack badge and drive for someone for a while, this is the only way I can see you will get a level opinion, I honestly believe you don't know whats what as regarding working as a rank car yet.
