Taxi Driver Online

A strange man in a long mac has just approached me whilst on the church, and asked me if i would like to buy a cheap black skoda, that just fell of the back of a lorry, light damage only, when i said "sorry Guv" don't need to have one now.
He said " Oh i think you will find you do, my old son " that is if you want to work the rank in the station.
When i tried to ask what he was saying, he said, can't say anymore, said to much already, and this rank is bugged!!!
So if i am understanding this right have Station Taxis or National Express taken it upon them selves's to be judge / jury and enforcement officers for the City of York Council, and call me cynical, but if so what's in it for them?
Don't you think enough is enough!!! Station Taxi's who and what are they?
It really must be about time we told them to stuff their permits and sky high prices for them, can they alone maintain that rank? No chance!!! do we need them? No way!!! Do they need us? Oh Yes!!! will we stick together on this? No way!!! why? because we have no bottle or solidarity!!!

So, no such thing as stupid questions? just stupid people? At least i am on medication for my schizophrenia, when i remember to take it, and i have my mental health counselor, and she assures us that we are both well and stable.

Guess i must have hit a raw nerve there, so given my issues and cynical views, i guess you must be part, if not the top puppy in station taxi's, in which case, may i take this opportunity to furnish you the local Samaritans telephone number, think you may be in need of it in the near future.

Hi this is Bill, some know me and some don't - this is what I have found out regarding station taxis and national express. If you put a car on now (before the 1st of May) it can be any colour and it will be able to stay on while those nice people at station taxis have the license to run the station portico. However, after the 1st of May if you have an accident or have your car written off (God forbid!) you will find that you have to put a black car on.

Now what confuses me is that Tom Brown took York council to court and won his case on his taxi colour, well done Tom!!! and now, station taxis and national express have said "stuff you" and "stuff the courts" and "stuff anyone else, you will do what we say" far be it for me to say anything derogatory, however I do think station taxis and national express should 1. Look after trains 2. Get work for cars in station taxis and 3. Leave the bloody taxi trade to run itself like it should, and up to recently, always has done.

As we all know, York City council have a set of rules and regulations that your car should be clean, tidy and well maintained, we run by laws regarding our licence, for God's sake why don't they let us run to the regulations that are already in place and leave us to get on with the job and let politicans do politics and taxi drivers do taxi driving and stuff the rest!!
