Since when has no taxi SUD stopped a council delimiting? :?

If they are going to delimit, then it doesn't matter what a survey says.

You are so full of sh*t. You may think "It works like this. If ..." but tell me what difference does my name make to my opinion?

If no one knows who you are, then you don't have an opinion because you have no identity. All you are is a mouth piece hiding behind a pseudonym on an internet forum. It's easy.

Quote:
I work to my rules not yours.

Cowards only have one rule and that's to run away and hide.

Quote:
I don't care what you think. Get it?

Oh you care alright, but you lack the backbone to stand up and be counted for what you believe.

Quote:
So JD, Toots, and TDO must be frightened to let you know who they are and hide behind a pseudonym on an internet forum, going on your reasoning.

These guys stay in a different part of the country altogether. You and I work the same manor. My beliefs and actions impact directly on you and yours. I'm prepared to stand and be counted for what I believe - I don't hide.

Quote:
Perhaps the public would be put at greater risk if too many taxis were licensed and drivers had to work such longer hours that they became a danger on the roads.
Taxis don't drive themselves. Double shifted vehicles would become single shifted. The only guys that would lose out would be those charging the big rentals. Supply to the customer would stay at the same level until more drivers sat their briefs and bought there own taxis - this is where quality controls come in.

Oh and btw, Ph have tripled in the last 8 years. If you don't expand your competitors will.

Quote:
You don't honestly expect me to believe that you have had politicians phoning you?

This is an election year me auld spud. Crime and Public safety are usually the first issues on their manifestos. This is how they get re-elected and that's why they're looking into the cap on plates.

I can assure you that Cllr, Keir will face some awkward questions in the coming months.

Quote:
Only after you have probably emailed all and sundry begging for attention.

No. I leave acts of desperation to guys like you.
Quote:
You seem over concerned with plate values. Why?

Plates have no real value - it's artificial. The buying and selling of plates works like a pyramid selling scheme and that's why the council deny that there is any value in a plate.

Think Dublin! The council there pulled the plug at 90K a plate. Sooner or later the system of buying and selling plates has to collapse under its own weight - 50K a plate but "no significant unmet demand"

Reminds me of the time folks like you were ripping the pi** out of Ali T, just before he got his free plate attached to his £500 motor.

Still the likes of you would much rather pay £50,000 for the plate and £35,000 for the motor. :-$

You weren't by chance a director of RBS were you?

while we're on the subject
does anyone know why crt and city put in objections to all applications?
dont get me wrong  i know why they object, they just dont like it up em.

but why do they do it, do they believe it will have some impact on the cooncils decision?
do they believe if it did influence the council, that it would somehow have some legal standing. :?: :?: :?:

and another thing
why conduct and pay for a survey.that takes almost a year to complete,
only surveys 3 months.
then discard 66% of that data.
and go for the one that suits you sir.
i meen whats the point of a survey if you discard 2/3 of the findings, and its not very good value for money surely.
im well oot of touch with this having spent the last 4 months sunning it up.
so forgive my ignorance.
