If it's who I think it is then his drivers were not all consulted. Some drivers may have been asked, but if so haven't spoken up. The city owner/drivers I've talked with are already at least 20 - 25% down on overall fares without operators trying to pressure other operators (which is what it boils down to I think - hard competition between Discount, Direct and Handsome).

Having said that, there are way too many PH cars in the Lincoln area, the downward pressure on fares as a consequence is very strong. If as an owner driver, just outside the city I must say, I make more than 35/40p a mile at busy times it's a bloody miracle and that hurts bad...

How is the new Metrocab coming along Skippy?

Any updates?

That must have been over a year ago now if my memory serves me correctly . . . which sometimes it does'nt nowadays?
