We're 100% here. I'm a PH saloon and I have one quite regular, it goes in the boot and travels up the f in hill :D

sounds like the requirement for (proper) WAVs is way over estimated

You misunderstand......I got rid of the TX and got a saloon before the LA changed its policy.

Never said I was a WAV. Our HC's have to be WAV. I was just saying as a saloon PH it would appear we get more wheelchair users than the WAV's

In the document it says and i quote( at present there are no vehicles available to the trade which would meet all of the requirements of the proposed specification) .I think all those who have wavs now should read this document as there wavs are not going to be any good if they go FULLY ACCESSIBLE VEHICLES.This is one of the options that they are looking at.

The mixed fleet option was also mentioned but the did say the percentages would be hard to work out, a 20% to 25% wav was the figure suggested

I suggest people read the consultation because it affects everybody.

its quite easy, the % of WAVs should be the same as the % of wheelchair users in the population....

population 60 million, wheelchair users 12 million = 20%

It's not that easy. The population can move around a lot easier than the WAV's can. Unless of course you're suggesting that the national % of wheelchair users is used on a local basis :D

I've got my MP making noises at the DfT. Hopefully, a response may appear soon. I'll let you know when I hear something.
