it says "eastcoast" on a car and DFDS on the terminal, probably the ferry terminal. I think its the port of Tyne.

Eastcoast cars have a linkup with DFDS somehow, maybe theyve paid for the rights?

Our private hire are not quite that bad.

We have had a change in attitude by the police in Dundee. fat Sam's central is not working as well as it was.The company in question were reported to the licence committee about the situation. The council have also admitted that the land is not private land (just like the eastbourne case) I think they could be on a sticky wicket if the council take one licence they have to take all 71.

Some of they independent drivers were also knocked back in there attempt to put 203020 along the side of there cars.

At last wannabeahack sanity has returned. I suspect that if the PHs there are mostly local then they are mostly cobbling and should be reported. HCs you should flex your pecks. If most are out-of-towners then you would assume that they havn't travelled loads of miles just to get a local fare-therefore are legitimate.

in which film?

in mine, at a DFDS terminal, the company "eastcoast cars" has a tie-in with the ferry company, so if they have hacks/PH outside and have paid for the rights.....

stationtone you say some of the private ops with 203020 were refused permission to put their logo on the side of their vehicle, were any of them given permission ?a couple of them have been driving about for at least 3 weeks with the logo on the side, i thought davy was using his usual stratedgy, go ahead with it and ask for permission later,i might try this myself sometime

no they do not have permission this is another total disregard for licence conditions.Hopefully the council will take action otherwise we will all put adds on our cars.I would like to advertise whisky and maybe cigars.

The 2 cars that I have seen advertising are Dean Flynn lic no 819 & David Johnstone lic no 173 & I am pretty sure there are a few others out there.
