Perhaps he was walking slowly because he was in no hurry to be forced into the middle of a rioting mob.

The bloke was walking home from work FFS. Or are you suggesting that's now a legal requirement.

Doesn't matter what happened prior, although I suspect the chap wasn't an aggressor, if the chap was doing something illegal then arrest him.

It's not rocket science.

If he had been a threat to them, once they are placed him on the foor they would have handcuffed him and taken him away, they didn't, speaks volumes to me.

As his name has been taken in vain it would only be right to allow the unbiased views of Mr F. Of course this is his personal view. :D

As a long time resident of London it is of course no surprise to observe the police in action, this behaviour of beating innocent people up is merely the norm in London!! Generations of Londoners detest these animals, really this guy was lucky he didn't get 6 bullets in the nut from point blank range. The list of these FILTHS activities including back handers from the Krays, organising a wage snatch at the Daily Mirror building when it was in Holborn during which a member of my then union NATSOP was shot dead The activities of one inspector Challenor who regularly organised the fitting up of innocent people, often by planting evidence on them! [which is why on demos we had CHALLENOR pockets. ie they great big holes in them] I have watched these scum in action from the 1950s rent demos in St Pancras the anti Vietnam war demo in 68. i observed them on tour during the Miners dispute where the MET were truly detested wherever they went through to their disgusting behaviour at Wapping the poll tax demos and on to the present day. All civilised communities need a Police service its just Londoners bad luck that since time immemorial the London police seem determined to justify their name. Lets hope this particular police gets a long sentence i doubt it despite film of it occurring there is no JUSTICE in this CITY as regards the FILTHS activities.

PLEASE NOTE I WRITE THIS IN A PERSONAL CAPACITY

If he's (Mr F) has been watching riots for so long can he tell us what the rioters were going to do with PC Blakelocks head in the Broadwater Farm riot 1985 had they managed to sever it from his body?

If he's barred, why do we still have to read his tripe?

Justice? From a chap who supports regimes like Cuba or Brazil where you are executed in the street for speaking out against the Government?

Smashing.

Sussex, you're turning into a leftie.

Too much GMB involvement, next thing we know you'll be calling for the Queen to step down and sporting an Elvis Presley jacket.

There is no Newsagent there, he was within the boxed in demonstration area.

Every single Londoner stayed away from The Bank that day as the anarchists and the riot was fully expected, every single Newspaper printed this.

Makes you wonder why he placed himself in the middle of a known disturbance.

Mr GBC,

Get a grip, this is what the GMB stand for:

GMB is a campaiging trade union focused on protecting GMB members in their workplaces and growing the number of GMB members in order to strength the Union's power. This website reflects GMB's aims and ideals, and shows what GMB Workplace Reps and GMB Organisers do every day for GMB members.

GMB is a general union - which means that anyone can join us. GMB has almost 600,000 members working in every part of the economy. One in every 32 people at work in the UK is a member of GMB and GMB is organised in 34 of the UK's biggest 50 companies.

GMB has members in every part of the UK economy doing every type of job imaginable. GMB members are men and women, young and old or even retired, working full and part time, and are made up of a wide and diverse cross section of Britain's society.

Every day of the year GMB offers protection at work and solves problems for GMB members. GMB provide back up, representation and advice on every issue related to members life at work.

This system of support can be provided in a number of ways, often through one of our 25,000 union representatives: GMB trained individuals who give their time voluntarily to help their workmates.

Backing up the reps are full time GMB Organisers.

GMB employ a team of experts on a range of issues including legal specialists, health and safety experts, pension specialists, human resource management staff and experts on terms and conditions. In fact, if you need advice and support about anything to do with work the GMB can help you.

GMB's fundamental approach is that together we can achieve more than we can do on our own.

Whether you're looking for better pay, improved childcare, realistic work-life balance, a change to long working hours, the elimination of poor health and safety or simply a desire for respect from your employer; together our voices are much more powerful than one voice alone.

GMB has been in existence for over 12 decades and has grown to be one of Britain's most powerful and forward looking forces for change. It is made up of a number of unions who have merged over the last 120 years to become GMB - Britain's General Union.

Through peace and war, with and without help from Government, GMB has been winning for our members and protecting people at work. GMB is here for you - to protect you, to represent you and to make a better life for you.

Regards
BB

Thanks for the GMB advert Mr BB.

Not for me though, certainly not when you've still got the left wing lunatic in charge.
