That's not correct is it Skippy, You do not have to own the vehicle to be self employed. You can rent the vehicle and the equipment. Anyone buying a car on HP does not own it either.

The first part is correct grandad, the second part means that virtually every cab or PH owner has a vehicle on the never never

Drivers up here work on a split bag and thats wrong

I dont doubt what you say......but if your correct why dont you report it....even via anon email?

What if the guy who owns the car basically says well my 60% is the hire of the vehicle for that day? :wink:

These are actual takings for a week from 1 driver who lost a page out of his notebook
Mon £15.70 hours 12 Tues £17.20 12 Wed £11.50 12 Thurs £23.90 14
Fri £44.40 16 Sat £70.00 18 off sun
So takings for the week £182.70 less 50% £91.35 hours worked 84
so that makes his wage £1.08 an hour
