Would you consider signing the petition to help some of the Ghurkha’s stay in the UK. It seems quite petty that the government has difficulty allowing proud Ghurkhas to reside in the UK after they have given so much throughout our military history. Today’s News of the World carried the story of Cpl Kumar who was killed on Thursday fighting for Britain. His widow no doubt devastated at his loss, learned just 24 hours later that she and her family have no right to stay, I am incensed that someone who fought for the UK for 13 years is being let down by the system.

Joanna Lumley has fought for better rights for the Ghurkhas and I thought Gordon Brown would not honour his promise to give greater consideration to the proud regiment. The UK is overburdened with illegal immigrants which in many ways seem to have greater rights even though they contribute little to the UK. Of course these are my personal views and you might feel different, I ask that you consider the merits of this injustice.
