Gus, £300 pw isn't outrageous for a full time car, if you're paying £300 pw for a shift car then I guess it is, locally the going rates are £140 days, £200 nights and £270 full time, given the fact that even a shrewd Indy will cost £120 pw just to run, the profit isn't stunning is it.


And for the HC arguement, where are all the cars going to rank if numbers are allowed to increase?


The whole idea is a HC caters for the instant customer who doesn't want to wait, a PHC is a booked ride for those that have the time to wait or just want a cheaper ride.

and only 5 of them know the truth but wont admit it,another 3 would take the chance of there own plate even although there ignorant of the facts,the other 2 of them ignore everything you say because they dont like you.

It's for a shift and the owner decides which shifts they get. Wanna guess who normally gets the best hours?

Half of them would be parked at home, since very few would be double shifted.

i believe qualified drivers should be given thier own plate .
if they meet the standards who am i ,or anyone else to say that they cant have a public licence to operate thier own taxi.

and what makes it right that they have to pay another driver with the same qualifications as him money to drive that drivers cab.
