I know that before I post this that it is a mistake  but what the heck! Will someone please tell me if I have got this the wrong way round.
1) Charlie was the secretary for region 5 NTA
2) Preston was a member, region 5 NTA
3) Charlie goes to Preston and holds a meeting
4) The meeting was not an official one because it was not called by the Associations committee
5) Charlie starts a new association with the same name as the original association and affiliates it to his own association.
Have I been dreaming or is this true?
6) Charlie's associations are sponsoring Charlie's bid to become the next independent MP for Bolton.

As concerning as it may appear you have the same dreams as me  Apart from that it would appear that you understand the situation fully

I have got used to inceherrent ramblings and mis-represenations, CO now claims I am lying about attending one of his meetings. PHCA admin officer recorded the proceedings, and not only was I there, I have the minutes (what passes for minutes). I will gladly give a copy to all as posters will be intrigued that there is no mention of 'Selley out' nor an affiliation of PHCA to BBHA!!
What you all may consider interesting is our solicitor has a 'copy' of minutes for the same meeting which were presented to our bank, which surprise, surprise, do mention an affiliation!

The facts are, CO wase invited to Preston by a group of drivers, some PHCA members who wished to join his group!
Not satisfied with taking some of our members, CO then decided he wanted our money!
The legal department at Yorkshire Bank Head Office suprisingly failed to agree with CO's spurious claims!!!

CO now resembles a impotent punch-drunk gunslinger who has fired (and missed), no bullets left and is waiting for the cavalry ( FSO) to ride to his rescue!

Do us all, and I mean all a favour CO, jump on your horse, and ride off into the sunset (Tongfold)!

The end, and I mean the end!!

Sell

ps. 'not liked by the trade'....over 70 members would indicate otherwise!

Mark......nice to see you on here :D

Dont worry about charles, after his failed invasions of Russia and Poland, Preston must have seemed easy.

Of course, all of that had nothing to do with that large bank account your association has

Auchtermuchty (Gaelic: Uachdar Mucadaidh - English interpretation: "Field of Boars") is a town in Fife, Scotland, situated beside Pitlour Hill nine miles north of Glenrothes. Until 1975 it was a royal burgh, established under charter of King James V in 1517. There is evidence of human habitation in the area dating back over 2,000 years, and the Romans are known to have established a camp in the southeast corner of the town. In the past, the linen industry was a major source of work in the town, but in the early 18th century the firm of John White was established, bringing the town its first foundry (there were two eventually). There was even a distillery in operation from 1829 to 1929, when Prohibition in the U.S.A. led to its closure. The town nowadays is a quiet but thriving community, situated in the Scottish countryside, where there are several local recreational footpaths. There is a modest range of local industry, but most people of working age travel outwith the town for employment.

There is a festival held each year in August.

The town was used as the location for Tannochbrae in the 1990s TV series Dr Finlay's Casebook.

The town's church is mentioned in James Hogg's The Private Memoirs and Confessions of a Justified Sinner.

The town gets a mention in The Family Ness theme song, You'll Never Find A Nessie In The Zoo, in the refrain "You can go to Auchtermuchty and to Drumnadrochit too, but you'll never find a Nessie in the zoo". It also appears in Rich Hall's joke; he appears wearing a fox-fur hat, and says "When I told the folks back home I was coming to Auchtermuchty, they said 'wear the fox hat'". The town, which is on the main road to the world famous golf courses at St. Andrews, was frequently mentioned in a light-hearted manner by the journalist Sir John Junor, but although he was a frequent visitor, he did not come from or live there.[3]

If you think for one minute I will lose any sleep about your illiterate ramblings your sadly mistaken.

The people I feel sorry for are those who are left to pick up the pieces once you leave town.

I saw your response to Preston Councils consultation and I saw the legitimate trade in Preston's response. The difference was chalk and cheese.

At the PHCA AGM absolutely nobody in the room admitted to being one of your 'members'; nobody, thats zilch by the way. Why would that be, if they were satisfied you were doing a good job?

The only people that can represent Preston or any taxi association are those with an active interest in the local trade, either a badge or plate would suffice, you have neither in Preston, Blackburn, Burnley etc.

Why would a person ask for smaller vehicles (i.e. Doblo's) to be licensed when deregulation is overshadowing an area? I'll tell you why, because they havent got a f*cking clue and are not interested in what happens.

I'm not going to point blame, but I can't see where all this rucking in the North West trade is going.

IF someone wants to start up a new association, then start up a new association. But fight with the old association against those that want to fight the trade i.e. train folks and iffy councils.

Don't fight each other over money, and who said what and who was here there and everywhere. TBH drivers really don't give a f*** about that.
