I fail to see how it's like the NTA as you don't have an elected committee and the NTA is a recognised trade association, unlike yourself.
Tell me Charles is it true that Bolton Council don't recognise your association cos you have failed to provide membership numbers to them.
Also are you still using the computer you obtained from BTDA

It doesn't make an ounce of difference how many members you have it won't make it a better run association or a more democratic association

A Get the right story and i tell you, what i will say it was not a computer, and the BTDA never provided a computer, printers, etc.
2. Tell me Charles is it true that Bolton Council don't recognise your association cos you have failed to provide membership numbers to them.
have i not well not news to me,
Dear Mr Oakes
Thank you for your e-mail.
The information requested by Andrew Fisher in his e-mail of 17th April is to assist the Council with consultation. The Council would like to establish how many licence holders the various trade associations represent and how they manage their business. It is not the Council’s intention to consult with only one of the associations based on the information it receives.
If you provide details about the funding of your association, your members and your meetings, you will be able to show Councillors how you are representing members of the trade and Councillors will be able to decide the weight to be given to your representations to the consultative panel. I note that you have provided some information, i.e. the rules of your association and notices of meetings, so Councillors will have some evidence of the level of activity in your association.
You ask why the request for information was not on the agenda at the last Consultative Panel and state that you want to have a meeting with Alan Eastwood about it. However, I am sure you will appreciate that a simple request for information does not give rise to consultation or debate. It is up to you and your members whether you supply the information requested. As there is no sanction for failing to provide the information, I cannot see what purpose a meeting would serve.
Regards
3. I fail to see how it's like the NTA as you don't have an elected committee and the NTA is a recognised trade association, unlike yourself.
