Drunk woman from Ellesmere Port offers to pull her pants down as payment for taxi fare

A DRUNK woman offered to pull her pants down as payment for a taxi ride. After making a journey worth £8.10, Amy Gee, 32, of Marbury Gardens, Ellesmere Port, found that she had no money.

She had booked a taxi with Circle Cabs and duly got in with driver Terrance Proctor who drove her from Rivacre Road to Stanney Grange at 11pm last Wednesday night.

At Chester, Ellesmere Port and Neston Magistrates Court on Friday, prosecutor Rob Youds said: “He could smell intoxicants and states she was incoherant. “He saw her trying to reach the takings in the foot well.”

When they arrived Gee said her friend would pay and Mr Proctor got out and knocked on the door of the house she said she was visiting but got no answer.

When he returned, he discovered his cigarettes and £2 in change had gone. He challenged Gee who returned the cigarettes but denied having the money. Then Gee said: “If I take my pants down, I’ll pay you that way.”

Gee had drunk six cans of cider and two cans of lager earlier that day and claimed she could not remember ordering the taxi or taking the cigarettes and cash.

Chair of the bench Ken Jackson handed Gee a nine-month conditional discharge and ordered her to pay compensation of £10.10 to Mr Proctor and £60 in costs.
