If Skippy feels he needs to elucidate his feelings and his progress on here then I, for one, am more than happy to give him any support I can. I've been there, I know how I achieved a major change for the better in my life.

Feel free to send me a PM if you need any help 'off the board,' Skippy.

As I have said I have never been a smoker. I don't often agree with Skippy's views but I would still like to encourage him in his quest to give up and I hope others who want to give up will find some inspiration from skippy's "diary".

You keep it up Skip and take no notice of him. When you've finally cracked it you can post your electronic cigarette to CC and tell him politely (or not so politely) where to stick it

I find this hard to believe as nicotine is out of your system within 8 hours so a good nights kip would clear it. You will probably find it is habit that keeps you smoking and the other sh*te they put into cigarettes such as sugar (which is what you crave) that keeps you smoking.

Good luck Skip and I hope you're successful

It is the lack of nicotine which causes the cravings, not the presence of it

Day 4 17.55 PM  So far have managed all day on the EF, to take my mind off it I have blown up a pic of Wayne Cassy alias CC so when I get agitated i can punch it :D

The ciggy takes a bit of getting used to due to it being a lot thicker than a roll up and you do tend to get more air when you draw on it
