or did you mean GW1 and GW2?....blame Blair...

Mrs T was PM at the start of GW1 - replaced by John Major without an election

At least maggie went when no-one wanted her, unlike Gordie, who is gonna hang on till hes kicked out by the voting public, his shirt must be like a string vest with all the knife holes in it

bring on the Conservatives, not long to wait now

GW1 was of course about securing the freedom of Kuwait, GW2 came about on very flimsy terms, WMD obviously meant buckets and spades as with all that sand out there thats about all they needed...blame Blair

Normally you'd get the  but for a change I shall just take it as a compliment. Even if it wasn't meant to be

Why are Number 10 and 11 Downing street both occupied by jock MPs when jockland has, at great expense, its own Parliament?

Because Scotland is still part of the UK, and the UK is run from those addresses.

Scotland voted for a devolved parliament. We got fed up of English PMs making a balls up of our country and decided we could screw some of it up ourselves. The Welsh came to a similar conclusion. NI also has a devolved assembly.
The English prefer to let the UK parliament decide everything. That way they can blame Jocks, Europe or the tooth fairy for the sh*t they are in. Anyone but themselves

Ok then we'll keep the £50 odd billion quid that it takes to run Scotland each year then how's that?? 8)

No sweat. Just hand back all the oil revenues since the 1960's with interest and you've got a deal

It must wrankle but lets be fair, left to the jocks the oil+gas would still be under the sea...

BP and Amoco did the finding.

I think youve been paid many times over for the oil, in the benefits flow north

Even if I believed this was the case, which I don't, it would be the price of the union. A Union which was wanted by the English in 1707 and was not wanted by the Scots. Three hundred years of English domination and no Westminster government has ever wanted to end this supposedly costly union. Why do you suppose that would be?

Don't like the union? Then break it. :D

Haven't seen any truth here, just the small minded ravings of a Sun reader.

So you believe it's possible to drill in English waters and just extract the entire contents of The North Sea? Perhaps you should let the major oil companies know this. They could save a fortune on the cost of transporting guys from England to some godforsaken steel island north of Shetland and piping all the oil south again.

Keep on believing this......It will keep you warm at night
