Taxi driver rapes male passenger
A man was raped by a taxi driver who followed him into his block of flats after driving him home.

The 20-year-old victim got into the cab at Quay Street in Manchester city centre in the early hours of Sunday after a night out.

When the taxi arrived at Salford Quays, the driver refused to take payment.

The man went into his flat block, but was grabbed by the driver as he waited for the lift. He was raped in the stairwell of the building, police said.

'Traumatised'

Det Sgt Julie Connor, of Greater Manchester Police, said: "This was a brutal attack on a young man who has been left feeling traumatised.

"We want to appeal to taxi drivers in the city centre to tell us if they recognize the description he has given of his attacker."

The rapist was described as being in his late 20s or early 30s, dark skinned, possibly Asian, and of middle eastern or Iraqi appearance.

He was about 5ft 9in tall and slightly overweight with short brown or black hair and unshaven with a beard and brown eyes. He was wearing a brown leather jacket and a dark green jumper.

Police said the taxi was a VW Passat and had an illuminated taxi sign on the roof.

I dont think its funy at a lady as to be put though that sort of ordeal.

Nor do i think you are very funy ither, but you or entitled to your opionon to.

You have taken the view i am some one who dont know what he is doing, you dont see me or this association worth considering that i just may be right.

I dont know or care wether you have been part of the NTA, or not but i have and have my views to which i am entitled to and my members.

you dont know me, the only thing you have is secondhand information on me the association, i give 100% to my members at any time of the day or night.

Charles you make it very difficult to have any kind of constructive conversation with you. All I wanted to know is why you titled the post 'Ho'. The first thing that came to mind is that you thought it funny a man was raped, so I asked you if you found something funny about it. You're reply was "yes you". Now you have just said that you don't think I'm funny which is fine, but, inaccurate. This only leaves one answer and that is you find the fact that a man was raped funny. I find that attitude quite shocking to be honest, especially from somebody who is in a position such as yours. I can only hope that you're members don't have the same attitude.

With regard to the NTA, who, mentioned them and why is it that whenever I post anything all you talk about is the NTA. Do you have erotic dreams about shafting the NTA cos that's all you talk about. I'm sure there must be more to Charles007 than his desire to slur the NTA at any possible opportunity.

Oh yes and for the record CC and I have had many disagreements and I don't think he is always right but I do think he is very funny

Quite right too. It can be terribly confusing trying to read a post if there is a letter or word in the wrong place.

Some of Charles' posts resemble the aftermath of an explosion at the World Scrabble Championship!

Of course, Grandad could be referring to a rape case he heard about involving someone with the initials 'IS'.
