Because PH wants to be HC, but being PH means they don't have a clue about it, as indeed I didn't back when I was PH, infact I can't believe I was such a knob not being able to workout that 750 cabs into 70 rank spaces doesn't go, doh.

I understand your reply Karen, but locally it's exactly how it is, and I can say that because it was how I felt before I bought in, I'd sit there longing for the day to break free of radio circuits and having to sit in the middle of the road while the customer wasn't ready but had phoned for a cab 30 minutes earlier than they really wanted one, the not having to find the extortionate radio fee each week where the boss did nothing to drum up trade but still wanted his money at the end of the week, escape the buddies feeding routine as well, if I have a bad night now it's because it was a bad night or I was in the wrong place all night, not because the fat slag on the desk had a twinkle in her eye for a certain driver, or was dating/married to him, and lets not forget the customary must look after the company cars 1st thing that goes on, we used to know by how many dead flies a car had on it in the summer what kinda job it'd had that day, I think you probably read what I said as a slur on the PH driver, but what I really meant was they probably like me want to escape all that, but the dereg method only ensures you still need a radio and especially right now too many ppl would want to join up and make the job untenable.
