Hi guys,

I'm a new taxi driver and PVH. I looking for a good company at the moment(driving in a city), but... I have received an offer from a not typical company. Their customers are only companies. As they said I will get an information at least one day before when and where i have to go(f.e. tommorow 1PM to the airport) they said i can be hired by another typical company if i want, and they cannot tell me how often they will give me a job( could be 10 trips a day or nothing for a week - only long trips)
The only problem is - they offer me less money than typical company f.e. 20 pounds for a trip 25 miles.

do you think is a good offer? or i can get better money in a weekday doing typical job

Regards
Michael

But he can service 2 mistresses. Sorry.
Is the £20 for a round trip of 25 miles or is that 1 way?

good thing - about 20 miles on motorway. It is a quite possible that I'll have one customer from A to B and another one from B to A, it means I will be able sometimes to get 40 pounds an hour!
The only problem is that i don't know how many trips will i have. If I will be working for typical company only i will have job everyday.
The most important question is if i will be able to do 2 jobs? Can I work for 2 different companies?
Many thanks guys!

Providing they don't mind, and both are licensed by the same council as you and your vehicle, then there is no legal reason why not.

You are self-employed therefore you can work for both. Make sure the second company has your badge & insurance details. A word of warning though! If this SECOND company are just a booking agent or an out of area taxi company offering you airport work you will be operating illegally. You will then need an operators license before you accept their work or you will not be insurance will be void.
