let "life" mean LIFE, drop "manslaughter" as a charge, if you kill someone its murder and should carry a minimum of 20 years no parole

What a stupid comment. Firstly if you feel that YOUR life is being threatened by someone with say a knife and you happen to struggle with them and in the struggle they get stabbed and die. By your idea YOU would be guilty of murder.

thats self-defence..............

going out with a knife to kill someone unarmed is murder but too many hide behind the manslaughter charge, its being over-used.

as far as im concerned, all these are murders

So by your own addmission you already have a situation where killing someone is not murder. You see, you can't have a one size fits all law.

my big mucker and you would get on well, he says the same thing. Trouble is I'm starting to agree with him Shock

It is sad is it not when comments like that are made! and yet only the other night I made exactly the same comment to a passenger - would we have been better off?

The trouble is that the leaders of this country are so obsessed with the making of money and pursuing their own ideals, that the actual governing of the population seems to fall way down the list as they would rather meddle in world problems and not home.

The streets of this country are in a real mess, and the next lot who make law and order their priority - will get my vote, not that it is worth voting.

CJ, you MUST vote, in fact I honestly believe all on the voting register should be obliged vote unless a guest of Her Maj (HMP), and postal voting should be abolished after so many cases of fraud.

Too many have fallen in the cause of freedom to let it slide away or ignore it or moan after an election.
