there is no agreement,{on paper }you pay £3750 cash or you pay £200 per week plus your £85 radio fees to the office until the car is paid off.plus if you have a car through there office and need a driver they will give you a driver once they put them through there street test and charge you {£25 day shift or £40 night shift}per week.they reason they are selling the cars off is the maintence contract has ran out and it is costing to much for repairs, fairweathers{skoda dealer}were only doing basic repairs.

That all sounds very dodgy.

Just spoke to few of the folk who bought the private hire cars at 203020.
seems they are having bit of bother with the repairs for the cab inforcement tests on 1st september. They are handing out the best jobs to the drivers who have been there the longest and not bothering about the drivers who have just bought there cars after there test. Leaving them to fend for themselves given them the odd account job once an hour and at the end of the week pay the highest ofice fees in town for next to nothing.
some of the new drivers seem to be getting a very raw deal.
