I was watching that late night show on ITV where they follow the police,
They where in Nottingham last night in the red light district, and they where stopping taxi drivers and charging them for curb crawling even though they where just sitting in there cabs waiting for there punters that had told them to wait, while they went into a local park for some relief with the prostitutes, some drivers lost there licence for a month for doing there job.
I heard one driver say its an offence not to take the punter where they wanted to go so where do drivers stand on this one :?:

No idea CC, but in my book your only doing your job, it does not matter if its a red light district or a outside a hotel, the punter wants to go where he tells you, and if he says wait here and pays whats on the meter so far before he disappears, there should be no problem

I must have missed that but that's exactly what was happening.

It must have been a repeat last night

I watched it as well the problem was it was the drivers that were propositioning the girls for the punters so imo they deserve to lose there license

But they did'nt did they?

They were taking punters to street prostitutes, waiting on their sad punter screwing some aids ridden pond life, then taking the return journey.

Lets hope their licenses also get screwed.
