you mean me! or yer pal mr t ?

You obviously, MrT doesnt have any sheds

CC

really!
a guy that has a garage does all his own repiars and who has done, in his own words "loads of these" he is iether repairing them properly to mot standards or he is not.i believe he is and if repiared correctly they can be as good as new, without the price tag and the faults of say tx2/4
or is it the case that its ok for him to run an efficient model and not for me? ive to buy new give all the work to the garage and pay 50k for the plate.
aye ok cc

Decent standards are for the LA to apply and enforce. Ali only has to meet the standard set for everyone.

How's your Skoda BTW?

i prefer the notion of reaching the standard and maximising my profits while keeping my overheads as low as possible.
not everyone can fix there own vehicles
if they cant then they need the security of a waranty.
i dont
and as you well know the standard is the standard is the standard, meet that standard and youre as good a standard as the rest, why dont you look up the word standard in the dictionary cc .
it should help as you obviosly cant get past that the most simplistic of concepts like an mot test.

As I thought......your whole story to get a plate was bollox.....perhaps Edinburgh CC need to put an age limit in place for vehicles on first license?
