I know whose application I would rip up in front of him on the grounds of abuse of the system.

Is that grounds for refusal?

Legally I don't know, morally I'd say it is.

TBH GD the problem with Ali is he's just going to wait for the door to shut and sell again, then start his campaign all over agian as many times as he can get away with it, this isn't what is supposed to happen, it's supposed to balance a driver who wants to own cab with the possible local demand, not so someone can abuse the system for profit, if Ali was genuine in intent he'd only need 1 plate wouldn't he, the fact he wants 2 makes his motives unpure.

AliT, Gusmac,

Just received a letter from the cooncil acknowleding receipt of my application and also informing me a copy has been sent to LBP (standard). They will write to me in due course to advise me of the date my application will be considered by the RC sub licensing committee. They also enclosed a copy of objection from CRT/City (Anderson Fyfe) citing No SUD and that CRT/City advise the council they will require to take account of any updated information it receives in the intervening period as to the demand for taxi services before deciding whether to grant or refuse the application. Anderson Fyfe document 10 pages
I suppose that all applicants have or will receive same? Any thoughts???

plenty thoughts and there all crap

dinnea worry aboot crt/city
they attached the same pash to mine from anderson fyfe.
anderson fyfe arent qualified to say wether sud exists or not,and even if they were! which thier not, a council doesnt have to justify a grant of a licence.

its just the wee boys of crt/city thinking that employing a lawer will make them look big, when in actual fact the lawers probably [edited by admin] himself
i know i am.
obviosly thier memories are so bad they forgot what happened 2 weeks ago.
then again! maybe they just didnt understand what happened,i think thats more likely
